What we believe

December 27, 2011
We are a national coalition of organizations and individuals working to fundamentally transform the U.S. immigration detention and deportation system.
This, we believe:
  • We believe in the human dignity of all people, regardless of race or country of origin.
  • We believe everyone deserves fair and equal treatment by the government.
  • We believe in reducing our reliance on incarceration.
  • We believe in keeping families together.
We believe a better world is possible and you can help make that happen.

As the year comes to a close, stand up for what you believe in. Support DWN with a special year-end gift.
Click on the button to go to Tides Center website (DWN’s fiscal sponsor). In the drop-down menu “Projects A-E”, please select Detention Watch Network.

Thank you. We could not do our work without your support!
