BREAKING: Three Fasters Rushed to Emergency Room on Day 14 of Fast for Our Families

Three fasters, Jonathan Fried, Executive Director of We Count!, Francisco Augustin, and Sebastian Caño have been rushed to the emergency room at Homestead Hospital (975 Baptist Way (Campbell Drive and S.W. 147 Avenue) in Homestead, Florida 33033 after experiencing serious health concerns. They will follow the medical advice offered to them. Updates will be made available when we have more information.

The Fast for Our Families, which began with five fasters (six now) on New Year’s Day, is calling on the Obama Administration to stop the deportation of immigrants with American families until Congress fixes the broken immigration system. It is also asking for the Obama Administration to send Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, down to South Florida to meet directly with the fasters.
