The conference will bring together academics, activists, organizers, concerned students and members of the community to raise awareness about Alex Sanchez while we teach each other about some of the deeper issues underlying his criminalization. The conference will provide a dialogue around strategies for resisting the criminalization of youth and immigrants and social justice organizers in the context of the immigrant rights movement.
