New @WRCommission Report on Parental Rights & Immigration Enforcement

This week, the Women’s Refugee Commission issued a new report entitled Torn Apart by Immigration Enforcement: Parental Rights and Immigration Detention.

The report outlines challenges to parental rights faced by thousands of apprehended, detained, and deported immigrants each year as well as recommendations to protect family unity and parents’ due process rights.

    Can a illegal father be denied his parental rights? The mother and child are american born citizens. He has custody/visitation & support case this week. He is very concerned with getting deported when he simply wants to support and see his child.
