May 26-28 Summit in #VA: Turning the Tide from Criminalization of Immigrants to Dignity & Respect
Critical times require collective action. On May 26 – 28th, the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, national partners and allies invite you to participate in a three day Summit to Turn the Tide from the criminalization of migrant communities to a world of dignity and respect.
Since our last gathering in September in New Orleans, we’ve seen the expansion of police-ICE collaboration and the incredible growth of community resistance along side it. From Nashville to Los Angeles, from coast to coast, a migrant rights movement rooted in organizing for legalization with dignity, human and civil rights. Our direction and strength will be determined by our collaboration, resilience and creativity. Join us as we come together to celebrate our successes and strategize to craft solutions to move forward and amplify and strengthen our movement.
